The Department of English, Durga Mahavidyalaya, celebrated “World Heritage Day”. Commonly the day is celebrated on 18 April every year. UNESCO first initiated the celebration of this day from 1983 onwards. The celebration of this day is in process.
The Department of English celebrated the day with great fervor. Around 50 students participated in this programme. The theme of World Heritage Day 2024 was “Discover and Experience Diversity”highlighted to emphasize the significance of preserving our heritage. The programme coordinator was Dr Yogita lonare.
